In the movie Live and Let Die (1973), James Bond (Roger Moore) shaves with a Schick injector razor and Schick shaving cream, in the bathroom of his bungalo (number 12) at The San Moniquan Hotel.
In the movie Live and Let Die (1974), James Bond uses a Glastron GT150 speedboat in a thrilling chase through the Louisiana marches. The boat made a record braking 120ft jump.
The Live and Let Die GT150 used for the famous jump was built in 1972 and had an Evinrude Starflite 135hp engine.
In the 1973 movie Live and Let Die (starring Roger Moore), a deck of tarot cards designed by Fergus Hall is used by Bond to seduce the beautiful virgin Solitaire (played by Jane Seymour). After Solitaire predicts 'Death', Bond makes sure that he predicts 'Lovers' by having Solitaire choose a card from a stacked deck of only 'Lovers' cards.
Rolex and James Bond have a strong connection. Before Omega started supplying the watches for 007, Bond used a Rolex in several movies: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, Licence to Kill, The Living Daylights.
In the 1973 movie Live and Let Die, we get a rare tour in James Bond's own apartment. We can see a quite old fashioned interior with one cool gadget: the espresso machine. Bond fixes M a cappuccino, with this very loud machine, while M is talking about the mission. M, after receiving his freshly brewed coffee, comments "Is that all it does?!".
Bollinger and Bond is one of the most enduring marketing partnerships in motion picture history. Champagne Bollinger is featured in almost every Bond movie since Live And Let Die.
The literary James Bond first encounters Bollinger in the book Diamonds Are Forever, when Tiffany Case sends a quarter-bottle to his cabin on the Queen Elizabeth.
The Walther PPK was the weapon of choice for James Bond from the films Dr. No to Tomorrow Never Dies (except Moonraker and Octopussy) and again in Quantum of Solace and SkyFall. The gun is also mentioned in the Ian Fleming novels from Dr. No to The Man with the Golden Gun. It's the only gun / gadget that is used by all the Bond actors.
