In the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace, Daniel Craig sports yet another Omega, a Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Co-Axial Chronometer with a black dial (watch ref. 2201.50.00).

In the film, the watch doesn't have a gadget function. Bond wears the watch

This watch has a smaller case than the Planet Ocean Big Size he wore in Casino Royale, and features a steel bracelet in stead of the rubber band in Casino Royale. Generally a more formal watch than the Big Size from Casino Royale and with the black bezel and dial a new style compared to the blue bezel and dial Seamasters seen in the Bond movies since 1995.

The recommended retail for this item is £2250. There are 1,200 reserved for the UK and 5007 made in total in the world.

the price of the standard version is around 2850€ and the price of the limited edition is around 3000€. prices have been requested in Austria.

i have just purchased this watch straight after watching the film this morning, limited edition and a very low number as well. rate it very nice watch

my wife got me the limited edition just yesterday and its bloody beautiful!!!

amaizing anniversary gift, now I owe her, jejej

I emailed Omega's London boutique to find out if Daniel Craig used the Planet Ocean with the 42mm or the 45.5mm case in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. They confirmed that Craig used the Planet Ocean 45.5mm version in both films.

No that's mis-information!!!!

He wore the 45.5mm with rubber strap in Casino Royale and the 42mm with bracelet in Quantum of Solace.

Even the suppliers make mistakes but it was a 42mm

to be honest with you I bought my OMEGA but I got the one with the orange outer bezel (assume that is the name) because it caught my eye. I am registered blind and I find this such an easy watch to see. Oh incidentally yes it will set you back about £2250 but the quality and workmanship is breathtaking and I cannot praise these watches enough. Absoloutely exquisite quality. Bond has superb taste.

I bought this watch yesterday and the saleswoman said that Omega used the orange bevel (Planet Ocean) because the color orange is the last color you (the brain) see under water. --Interesting Fact
