The office desk by Danish architect, furniture designer, professor and researcher Bodil Kjær for E. Pedersen & Søn was featured in several James Bond films.

The desk features in From Russia with Love (1963), You Only Live Twice (1965), On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) and Live And Let Die (1973). The desk can also be seen in the film Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014).

The iconic desk was designed in 1959 and features an oak desk and drawers, and a metal frame. The table is 74 cm high x 200 cm wide and 100 cm deep. Bodil Kjær’s design is sometimes referred to as ‘the most beautiful desk in the world’ or 'the James Bond desk’.

From Russia With Love

The desk appears in the scene towards the end of From Russia With Love in which Blofeld sits behind the Bodil Kjær desk when speaking to Klebb and Kronsteen.

Blofeld has Kronsteen killed with the poison shoe and the last thing Kronsteen touches before he falls to his death is the desk.

You Only Live Twice

In the pre-title sequence of You Only Live Twice, we can see three Bodil Kjær desks lined up at the meeting of Russian, British and American officials.

Later in the film, Tiger Tanaka has a Bodil Kjær desk in his office. On the table we can also spot a Type 60 desk lamp by Rico & Rosemarie Baltensweiler for Baltensweiler AG.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service

In On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) we can see a Bodil Kjær desk in James Bond's room at Piz Gloria (thanks to Andrea Anders for spotting it). Bond, disguised as Hilary Bray, works on researching Blofeld's history on the desk.

Live And Let Die

The cave lair of Kananga's in Live And Let Die (1973) has a Bodil Kjær desk. The desk can briefly be seen in the background when Kananga, James Bond and Solitaire walk towards the winch above the shark infested water.

The desk in this scene also has the drawers on wheels that came with the desk.
