Quintessentially Bond: The Charity Auction
This March, MovieMania will host the Quintessentially Bond Charity Auction in support of York Against Cancer.

There will be more than 25 lots of James Bond Memorabilia & Experiences on offer in the Timed Online Auction that will last for two weeks.
Dame Judi Dench recorded a message to endorse the auction, watch it on Instagram.
Follow in the heroic footsteps of Pierce Brosnan in The World is Not Enough by ascending the O2, ride the iconic Aston Martin DB5 like Sean Connery did in Goldfinger, or bid on some of the original props & artefacts used in the James Bond films.
Some of the prop highlights:
A Crossbow Bolt Head used in the film For Your Eyes Only (1981)
The 40mm threaded Crossbow Bolt Head used during the production of the twelfth James Bond Film directed by John Glen.

From the personal collection of Martin Grace who played Roger Moore’s Stunt Double in the Film, and in numerous other Bond Films. Martin was also the action sequence arranger, & had amassed a variety of artefacts from the Films that he had worked on. In the Film, Melina Havelock seeks revenge on Cuban hitman Hector Gonzales [Stefan Kalipha], whom she witnessed murder her parents. She does so using her Barnett Commando Crossbow, which she uses again to kill one of Gonzales' henchmen before escaping with James Bond [Roger Moore]. Accompanied by a Compliment Slip from ‘Unlimited Stunts’ together with a black & white still. The Lot also accompanies a statement of Provenance from Martin Grace.
Quantum of Solace (2008) - Wallpaper from the Set
The Wallpaper can be seen at the end of Quantum of Solace, on the walls of Yusef’s (Simon Kassiandes) Polish apartment, when Bond (Daniel Craig) confronts him about seducing female agents for valuable connections.

These scenes were filmed at a disused Army Barracks located in Hampshire, England; which were rented to the Production Company by the MOD. The barracks were later demolished in 2015 & some of the remaining Wallpaper was salvaged. This piece accompanies four (x4) corresponding stills & a Letter of Authenticity from the retired MOD Employee who assisted the Film Crew in filming the scene.
