Dunhill cufflinks The World Is Not Enough
In The World Is Not Enough (1999), James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) wears a pair of gold Dunhill cufflinks.
Bond wears the cufflinks in several scenes, starting with the arrival of Bond at the oil fields in Azerbaijan, driving his BMW Z8, and at the meeting with Elektra King at her pipeline construction site. We can see the cufflinks clearly in the first shot when Bond holds the steering wheel of the car. With this outfit, Bond wears a black silk tie by Turnbull & Asser.
After the ski chase scene, Bond wears the same Dunhill cufflinks in Elektra King's palace in Baku. The exterior of the palace was filmed in Instanbul, and interior in Luton Hoo and Pinewood Studios.
With his tuxedo at Zukovsky's casino and when Bond impersonates Davidov, he wears a different pair of cufflinks, probably Dunhill as well, but they are round, with mother of pearl and silver in the center.
The cufflinks are worn again later in the film when Bond confronts Elektra King in her palace, during the following meeting with M and the action sequence in the pipeline where we get one of the best views of the cufflinks.
The last time Bond wears the cufflinks is when he visits Zukovsky's Beluga caviar factory which is destroyed by the helicopters with circular saw blades.
The cufflinks are currently very hard to find and rarely show up on eBay.
