Ian Fleming objects on display

Ian Fleming’s Remington Remette Typewriter, Canada, 1930s-1940s, is on display at the Spy Museum
Fleming, former British Naval Intelligence officer and the creator of James Bond, gave this portable WWII-era typewriter to British MI6 agent Prudence Mason as encouragement to write her memoirs. Her equally daring husband’s clandestine wartime exploits allegedly inspired some of James Bond’s adventures.
