James Bond Vehicles Join The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
This Sunday, 5th June 2022, ten iconic James Bond vehicles will join Act II of the People’s Pageant in a once-in-a-lifetime procession celebrating The Queen and 70 years of exceptional service to her country.
The vehicles will appear amidst a collection of 500 vintage cars and motorbikes which will cover a 3km route taking in the Mall and Buckingham Palace to echo the Coronation journey 70 years ago.

The famous Aston Martin DB5 which starred in eight films: Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale, SkyFall, SPECTRE and No Time To Die will be driven by Special Effects coordinator Chris Corbould.

A Triumph Scrambler motorbike seen recently in No Time To Die will take part, and be driven by world champion bike rider Paul Edmonson, who performed the motorbike stunts in No Time To Die.

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud in A View To A Kill
The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud from A View To A Kill will be driven by Academy Award winning director Vic Armstrong who also was a stunt double for Roger Moore and George Lazenby.
Other vehicles featured include the Aston Martin DB10 as featured in SPECTRE which will be driven by three-time British World Rally Champion Mark Higgins, and the Jaguar XKR from Die Another Day driven by Stunt Coordinator Gary Powell.
Completing the array of iconic cars in the 007 line-up will be the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish from Die Another Day, a Land Rover Series III from No Time To Die, the Rolls Royce Phantom III from Goldfinger, a Lotus Esprit S1 seen in The Spy Who Loved Me and the Aston Martin V8 from both The Living Daylights and No Time To Die.
About the Platinum Jubilee Pageant
The Platinum Jubilee Pageant will take place from 14.30 – 17.00 BST on Sunday 5th June. The Pageant will take place on some of the most iconic streets in Westminster (soke of which have been featured n the Bond films) including Whitehall and the Mall (seen in SkyFall), up to Buckingham Palace (seen in Die Another Day for example).
The Pageant will start on Whitehall, turn under Admiralty Arch and then process up the Mall before finishing outside Buckingham Palace around Queen Victoria Memorial.You can also view the Pageant on BBC One, Sky and ITV (in the UK) on Sunday 5th June.
The Gold State Carriage, led by The Sovereign’s Escort, will lead the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, embracing the latest in digital technology to evoke the excitement and majesty of her journey to be crowned 70 years ago.
More details will be provided at a later date and while The Queen won’t personally travel in the regal Gold State Carriage, there will be a fabulous surprise.
The Pageant will serve as an opportunity to gather and pay tribute to Her Majesty. It will culminate with the singing of the National Anthem, ‘God Save the Queen’ and a gospel choir to the sounds of the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines.
The Pageant will bring to life iconic moments from The Queen’s reign as well as showcasing our changing society over the past 70 years.
10,000 people are involved, including the military, over 6,000 volunteers, performers, key workers and 2,500 members of the general public.
People from all over the UK and across the Commonwealth are giving their time and creativity to build this event and celebrate this momentous occasion. Communities across the UK will find a connection to the ‘People’s Pageant’.
National treasures and iconic figures from music, film, sport and the arts will take part in the Pageant including much-loved celebrity names, alongside military personnel, key workers and volunteers.
