James Bond on Bond Street Sotheby's Auction
Sotheby’s James Bond on Bond Street is a cross-category James Bond sale to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the first time Bond hit the screens in 1962 with Dr. No.
The sale takes place from 25 August - 8 September 2022 with lots open for online bidding.
A complete collection of Ian Fleming’s books commences the sale, including four exceptional presentation copies from Fleming to his close friends, as well as rare variants, proof copies, and books signed by on screen Bonds including Roger Moore and George Lazenby.
Diamonds are Forever, 1956, first edition, presentation copy inscribed by the author to John Hayward is estimated to fetch between 20,000 - 25,000 GBP.
Focusing on the era of Bond at his most classic, the cinematic offering includes rare early posters from the films starred in by Sean Connery and Roger Moore, including the poster for the first ever Bond film, Dr. No.
