Royal Doulton releases Goldfinger Edition of James Bond Jack the Bulldog

Royal Doulton has released a new Goldfinger Edition of its famous Jack the Bulldog figurine, featuring a gold-coloured finish inspired by the James Bond film Goldfinger (1964).

The new Jack the Bulldog Goldfinger Edition 2026 follows the release of the 2026 Original Edition earlier this year.

While the Original Edition features the familiar Union Jack design seen in SkyFall (2012), the Goldfinger Edition gives the famous bulldog a new look with a high-lustre gold finish.

Available now at the 007Store (£100 / $135).

The figurine is made from porcelain and measures 15.7cm (6.18in) long, 9.7cm (3.81in) high and 8.7cm (3.42in) wide. It weighs approximately 240 grams.

The Goldfinger Edition has a new Royal Doulton x James Bond backstamp and the reference number DD 007 G on the base. Each figurine comes in a James Bond x Royal Doulton presentation box with a certificate of authenticity and tent card.

The Goldfinger Edition is available from the 007Store for £100 in the UK or $135 in the United States.

Jack the Bulldog in the Bond films

The Royal Doulton bulldog first appeared on the desk of Judi Dench's M in SkyFall (2012).

The bulldog survives the attack on MI6 headquarters and is later seen, damaged and slightly charred, in M's temporary underground office.

At the end of the film, following M's death, Bond receives Jack in a box from her estate. The label on the box reveals M's full name as Olivia Mansfield.

Jack returned in SPECTRE (2015), sitting on a table in Bond's London apartment, and appeared again in No Time To Die (2021).

The new Goldfinger Edition is a decorative interpretation of the famous bulldog and is not based on an object seen in Goldfinger.
 

Previous Royal Doulton 007 editions

Royal Doulton first released Jack as an official James Bond collectible in October 2012, shortly after his appearance in SkyFall. The original DD 007 figurine reproduced the undamaged Union Jack-covered bulldog seen on M's desk.

In 2015, Royal Doulton introduced the SPECTRE Edition (DD 007 M), featuring the cracks and damage sustained during the MI6 explosion.

Another version followed in 2020, the No Time To Die Edition (DD 007 B), with updated branding and markings.

In September 2026, Royal Doulton released the new Original Edition (DD 007 JB), bringing back the undamaged Union Jack design with updated packaging and branding.

The Goldfinger Edition (DD 007 G) is the latest addition to the collection and the first to feature a gold-coloured finish.
