This 1996 BMW Z3 1.9 was specified in Atlanta Blue over beige leather, the same colors as the car driven by James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) in the 1995 movie GoldenEye.

This car was reportedly used as a promotional vehicle for the film when new.

Powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission, the car is equipped with 16″ Style 35 wheels, a black convertible soft top, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning.

The 1.9-liter M44B19 inline-four was factory rated at 138 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. Work in September 2023 included changing the oil and replacing the fuel pump and sending unit, as well as the battery, fuel filter, air filter, thermostat, and coolant. The spark plugs and wires were replaced in January 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

Recently purchased by the selling dealer, this Z3 is now offered with a framed window sticker, James Bond- and GoldenEye-related memorabilia, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington State title.

The car is finished in Atlanta Blue Metallic and features a manually retractable black convertible soft top as well as fog lights, flared wheel arches, front fender vents, and a single exhaust outlet.

The 16" Style 35 alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot HX tires measuring 225/50 all around. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated front rotors.

The cabin features two bucket seats trimmed in beige leather, and matching leather extends to the center console and door panel inserts. Amenities include an onboard computer, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 82 miles.
