01 September, 2015

In the cover photo, Daniel Craig wears all Georgio Armani: a light grey silk-cotton jacket (£2,205), white cotton shirt (£270), navy / silver-spotted silk tie (£160), light grey silk-cotton trousers (£570), Black leather belt (£265) and a Seamaster Aqua Terra 41.5mm watch (£3,800) by Omega.

The interview in the magazine features photos of Daniel Craig taken by Greg Williams, an English photographer who is famous for his set photography on many of the Bond film sets. Williams began his career as a war photographer before moving into film and editorial work which has been featured in Vogue Italia, GQ, Vanity Fair and Esquire. He has shot on set and poster campaigns for the Bond films Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and SkyFall (read more about his Bond On Set books here). His portrait subjects include Kate Beckinsale, Daniel Craig, Megan Fox, Robert Downey Jr. and Sean Penn. His advertising work includes poster campaigns for Omega Watches. In this photo, Daniel Craig is said by Esquire to wear the blue suede bomber jacket by John Varvatos (£495, available again in October, the jacket that will be seen in SPECTRE), but the jacket in this photo does look different from the John Varavatos SPECTRE jacket. It has different zipper, different sleeves and cuffs... it is more likely Craig's personal jacket worn recently at the airport (see images on Daily Mail, thanks to sruzgar for spotting this). Craig is wearing a navy cotton round neck t-shirt by Orlebar Brown (£60, available at Orlebar Brown), Frame L'Homme Cotswolds Slim-Fit Denim jeans (£235, available at mrporter.com) and a black leather belt by Giorgio Armani (£265).
