In 1976 I decided to buy a Rolex Chronograph. The price? $525 at Ben Bridge Jewelers. Down the street another jeweler had the same watch (new, of course) for $515. I went back to B.B.J. and asked if they would meet the $515 price. I was flatly refused. I decided to wait and buy when I could negotiate a better price. OUCH!
