Heieneken SkyFall screening in Amsterdam

This week, the movie SkyFall premiered in The Netherlands, with Bérénice Marlohe promoting SkyFall and Heineken in the beer’s country of origin. Bond Lifestyle’s Remmert van Braam was invited to interview Bérénice Marlohe and attend the Heineken SkyFall screening.

On Monday October 29th, 2012 I had the chance to speak to French/Cambodian actress Bérénice Marlohe, who plays leading Bond girl Severine in the James Bond film SkyFall. Heineken offered me and a few select journalists a chance to meet the latest Bond girl in the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam.

David Arnold, composer of 5 Bond films, is auctioning off a brilliant piece of James Bond memorabilia for a poverty fighting charity CARE International – the charity he is an ambassador for. This limited edition promotional Samsonite attaché briefcase was presented to David Arnold, the composer of the film score for Tomorrow Never Dies, for his contribution to the production.

Heineken has been a partner of the James Bond film franchise since Tomorrow Never Dies (1998), but James Bond himself only drinks the Dutch beer in the latest film SkyFall (2012). Though beer drinking may seem like a radical departure for 007, it is not the first time he’s had a beer, either on screen or on the page.
