Agora Models unveils For Your Eyes Only Citroën 2CV in 1:8 scale

Agora Models announced the pre-order release of its 1:8 scale For Your Eyes Only Citroën 2CV model kit, adding a seemingly humble but culturally resonant vehicle to its roster of museum-quality kits.

The Citroën 2CV featured in the 1981 Bond film For Your Eyes Only has been rendered in impressive detail at one-eighth the size of the original.

Designed using 3D laser scanning technology and footage from the film, the kit comprises approximately 450 pre-painted parts. The finished model measures roughly 483 mm in length and weighs around 5 kg.

True to Agora’s meticulous approach, the model offers optional components to reflect different states of the car’s on-screen journey: builders can choose between ‘pristine’ or ‘bullet-damaged’ parts, including alternate trunk lids, wing mirrors, and even a cracked dashboard option.

Functional features extend to working headlights, retractable roof and opening doors. 

The model also has a detailed 602 cc twin-cylinder engine under the hood.

The Citroën’s inclusion in the official James Bond collection lines it alongside previous Agora offerings such as the 1:8 scale Aston Martin DB5 and Lotus Esprit models.

Pre-orders are being taken now for dispatch beginning April 2026, with options for subscription-style monthly delivery or single-payment purchase.

A collector’s edition, with bespoke illuminated display case and certificate of authenticity, is also available for those seeking a complete presentation.
