In the originals the design is on both sides, it really depends on the reasoning for your purchase, I made the T-bar back because it is usable and I wear cufflinks every day. To the point I make holes near my buttons on oridinary shirts to use them. Allot of Armani and Dolce&Gabbana shirts have rounded holes for the T-bar. Actual large buttoned eyelets on french cuffs are rare nowadays and costly. No doub't the double coin is more accurate in type, that does not include the actual herald which i have not seen.
