Château Angélus, Premier Grand Cru Classé Saint-Émilion

The wine that Vesper Lynd and James Bond drink on the train to Montenegro in the movie Casino Royale is a bottle of Château Angélus, Premier Grand Cru Classé Saint-Émilion '82.

In the 2015 movie SPECTRE, we will see a bottle of Château Angélus once again. In one of the stills released from the movie on August 13, 2015, we can see the bottle in the dining car in the train. It looks like the same bottle in Casino Royale.

Château Angélus, until 1990 known as Château L'Angélus, or simply L'Angélus, is a Bordeaux wine from the appellation Saint-Émilion, ranked Premier grand cru classé B in the Classification of Saint-Émilion wine. The winery is located on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region, in the commune of Saint-Émilion in the department Gironde.

Château Angélus is owned by a friend of the Broccoli family.

An exceptional wine. It should be noted that the wine was elevated to the Premier Grand Cru Classé “A” status in September 2012.
