The Atlantic Hotel was featured in the 1997 Bond movie, Tomorrow Never Dies. A few scenes were shot here, but one of the most memorable is the stunt scene in which Pierce Brosnan - or rather his stunt double - climbs from the Atlantic Suite to the globe on the roof of the hotel after Bond killed Dr. Kaufman. Present are, besides Pierce Brosnan, the German actor Götz Otto, the director Roger Spottiswalde and a crew of 150.
